scheda film] by Claire Denis (which won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the most recent Berlinale) is opening the 27th Rendez-Vous With French Cinema in New-York today, unfolding 3 – 13 March courtesy of UniFrance and Film at Lincoln Center. The director, who will be attending the screening with her two lead actors Juliette Binoche and Vincent Lindon, will also be in conversation with Jim Jarmusch on 4 March, discussing their respective careers.

A raft of talented individuals will be accompanying their films in New York, and conversing with the public, including Vicky Krieps and Mathieu Amalric on 6 March, Jacques Audiard and Lucie Zhang on 4 March, and Arnaud Desplechin on 5 March, without forgetting Emmanuel Carrère, Thierry de Peretti, Leyla Bouzid, Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet, Antoine Barraud, Axelle Ropert, Philippe Béziat, Émilie Carpentier and Aurélia Georges.

Also worth a mention on 5 March is a discussion taking place between actresses Juliette Binoche and Déborah Lukumuena (Robust) who will look back on their professional trajectories and creative influences. And on 7 March, a debate entitled "Playing with images: a French-American approach to cinematography" is scheduled to unfold, involving Arnaud Desplechin, Antoine Barraud, documentary-maker Kirsten Johnson, director of photography Ashley Connor, and writer and filmmaker Nikyatu Jusu.
