’s adapted screenplay) and Switzerland’s Jean-Stéphane Bron, the story revolves around Mia who finds herself caught up in a terrorist attack on a Parisian brasserie one Saturday night in the autumn. Three months later, still unable to pick up where she left off and remembering only piecemeal details of the event, she decides to search through her memory banks. Memories of the man she hid with and whose hand she held throughout the ordeal float back up to the surface. Is he still alive? Is she herself still alive? Mia searches the whole of Paris for this hand which saved her life…

Revoir Paris is produced by Isabelle Madelaine on behalf of Dharamsala (Alice Winocour’s go-to partner) and by Émilie Tisné for Darius Films (company which also teamed up with the director on her two previous works), in co-production with France 3 Cinéma and Pathé Films. Pre-purchased by France Télévisions, Canal+ and Ciné+, and benefitting from an advance on receipts from the CNC, as well as support from the Ile-de-France region, the film was shot over a period of eight weeks with Stéphane Fontaine at the helm of photography. Distribution in France and international sales will be steered by Pathé.
