Written by the director, the script centres on Blandine, who is depressed. Divorced, she now helplessly looks on as her only son leaves her to go live in Paris. Left to her own devices, she will suddenly reconnect with Magalie, whom she hasn’t seen since her teenage years. At the time, they were funny, close, carefree. They also shared a passion for The Big Blue. Actually, they swore to one day go to Amorgos, to try and follow in the footsteps of Enzo and Jacques Maillol. What if they went on this trip today? Even if they don’t have much in common anymore…

Produced by Caroline Bonmarchand for Avenue B Productions (already partners on three feature films by Marc Fitoussi), Two Tickets to Greece is co-produced by France 3 Cinéma, Greek company Blonde Audiovisual Productions and Belgian company Scope Pictures. Pre-bought by France Télévisions, Canal+, Ciné+, the RTBF and Proximus, the feature film will be distributed in France by Memento and sold internationally by Indie Sales.

For the record, Avenue B Productions is also behind the upcoming film Dune Dreams by Samuel Doux (read the article) and currently has, in post-production, Loving Memories [+leggi anche:
