, a first feature discovered in competition this summer in Karlovy Vary, produced by Maren Ade (Komplizen Film) and which tells a love story between a German gallery owner and a Congolese undocumented immigrant (played by Ursula Strauss and the rapper Passi Balende) will open the 26th German Film Festival this evening, which will run until 3 October in Paris at the Arlequin cinema. Organised by German Films, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut, the event offers a selection of feature films representative of the diversity of recent German production.
