Written by Andréa Bescond and Éric Métayer, the story is set in a retirement home and explores the confrontations unfolding between pre-teens, the residents of the home and the staff responsible for these seniors.

Big Kids is produced by François Kraus and Denis Pineau-Valencienne on behalf of Les Films du Kiosque, and is co-produced by France 2 Cinéma, Fils Prod and Belgian firm Umedia. Pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the movie will continue shooting until the end of August, with Emmanuel Soyer at the wheel of photography and distribution in France in the hands of Ad Vitam.
