The cast sees Fahd Larhzaoui in the lead role. by Sander Burger and Mascot by Remy van Heughten, both presented at the Marché du Film at Cannes. In Cannes Docs, BIND also presented the feature-length documentary A Thousand Fires by Saeed Taji Farouky, about a family in Myanmar who try to build a better future for themselves by working in oil extraction. Moreover, BIND is presently developing and producing the debut by Eelko Ferwerda, Jacob's Way. The firm’s line-up thus reveals a particular area of interest for the producer: social topics and stories that inspire social change. Furthermore, the titles in the company’s repertoire have been screened at international film festivals and won a string of awards.

El Houb is a BIND production, in co-production with VPRO. It is being supported by the Netherlands Film Fund, the Netherlands Film Production Incentive, CoBO and NPO-fonds. Gusto Entertainment is due to handle distribution in the Netherlands.
