), the story revolves around 29-year-old Baptiste, a manager at a FNAC store who’s in a relationship with Samia when he first makes the acquaintance of Cookie Kunty, a young drag queen from the Parisian night scene who immediately mesmerises our protagonist. Initially motivated by the idea of a photography project revolving around Cookie, he immerses himself into this world and learns everything there is to know about it, eventually embarking upon a relationship with Quentin, the young man behind the drag queen. Baptiste is overwhelmed by this encounter, which he keeps secret, and realises that it’s just as possible to desire a boy as it is the female character he embodies.

Produced by Nelson Ghrénassia for Yukunkun Productions (who are taking their first steps in the field of feature films, having just earned themselves a nomination for 2021’s Best Short Film César via Baltringue), Three Nights A Week has been pre-purchased by Ciné+ and benefits from an advance on receipts from the CNC. The movie also enjoys support from the Île-de-France, Grand-Est and South regions, as well as backing from the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, the SOFICA companies Indéfilms and Cineventure, and the Gan Film Foundation. The feature film will be shot over six weeks, until 28 March, in Paris, Strasbourg and Marseille, with distribution in France and international sales both in the hands of Pyramide.
