revolves around a 40-year-old woman who, accompanied by her lover, views a Riviera beach house for her family's summer holidays. This day, this break in her routine, in this new house, will mark a turning point in her life. Based on the Marguerite Duras play of the same name, Suzanna Andler is the portrait of a woman trapped in her marriage to a wealthy, unfaithful businessman in the 1960s. ). Produced by Wega Film, and starring Leopold Pallua, Rosa Zant and Christine Ostermayer, the movie hinges on Chechen refugee kids Oskar (eight) and Lilli (13), who have been living in Austria for six years and are about to be deported along with their mother. When their mum attempts suicide, it results in the short-term suspension of the deportation process – but also in the forced separation of the family. The children's hope that they will be reunited with their mother is fuelled by their love for each other as they attempt to overcome the countless bureaucratic obstacles with passion and poetry. A bittersweet odyssey about the many ways of perceiving the world around you in order to survive.
