The 19th Brussels Mediterranean Film Festival - Cinémamed is set to take place from 29 November-7 December. It will offer more than 60 recent cinematic productions hailing from the Mediterranean Basin, highlighting the rich diversity of the countries located there, thanks to some truly moving stories.

This year, Cinémamed has chosen as its underlying theme the quest for freedom – the freedom of thought and expression, and the freedom to love, to breathe and to live. The line-up will favour stories of a life spent battling oppression and obscurantism. Of particular note are a number of female struggles that audiences will see in the Official Competition selection, and which lie at the heart of films such as Adam [+leggi anche:
