).

Written by Emmanuel Mouret, the story centres around Daphné who, three months pregnant and on holiday in the countryside, finds herself alone playing host to Maxime, a cousin of her partner’s. The latter, François, has had to rush back to Paris to fill in for a hospitalised colleague. Over the course of four days, as they await François’ return, Daphné and Maxime slowly get to know one another, sharing very personal stories which bring them closer together; stories of love, both happy and sad...

Produced by Frédéric Niedermayer on behalf of Moby Dick Films, Love Affair(s) has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+ and has been granted the support of the Ile-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions, as well as that of the SOFICA companies La Banque Postale Image and Indéfilms. The eight-week film shoot will end on 5 December, with cinematography in the hands of Laurent Desmet (previously nominated at the Césars and the Lumières Awards within his category for Mademoiselle de Joncquières). French distribution will be headed up by Pyramide and international sales by Elle Driver.

For the record, Moby Dick Films has produced all of Emmanuel Mouret’s films, as well as Jean Paul Civeyrac’s A Paris Education [+leggi anche:
