Produced by Marc Bordure and Robert Guédiguian for Agat Films & Cie, The Big Hit was pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+, and benefited from the support of the Ile-de-France region (where the eight weeks of filming are taking place) and of the Sofica Cinémage, Cinéaxe, La Banque Postale Image, SG Image, SofiTVciné and Manon. French distribution will be handled by Memento, and international sales by mk2 Films.
