Over the course of just two years, the French international sales company Charades has experienced tremendous growth, going on to become one of the most dynamic companies working in the field of independent cinema today. The European Film Market of the 69th Berlinale (7 to 17 February) will provide yet another platform for the company to showcase its 19-film line-up, two of which have been selected for the Panorama section.

Yohann Comte, Carole Baraton, Pierre Mazars and Constantin Briest's line-up includes the Irish documentary Shooting the Mafia [+leggi anche:

by the British director Kim Longinotto (appreciated among others for Sisters in Law at the Directors' Fortnight in 2005 and at Sundance in 2009, where she won the Grand Prix for Rough Aunties and in 2015, where she scooped up the Best Director Award for Dreamcatcher [+leggi anche:

Focusing on the Sicilian photographer Letizia Battaglia, the film has just made its world premiere at Sundance in the World Cinema Documentary competition and will undoubtedly attract audience members in the Panorama section at Berlin, a section that also features Rodd Tathjen's Australian drama Buoyancy, which also in Charades’ line-up.
