The Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival or the BCN Film Fest, which focuses on the ties between audiovisuals, literature and history, has now finalised the programme for its sixth edition, to be held from 21 to 29 April in Barcelona. This year's festival includes 70 films in the event's eight sections, including seven world premieres.

The festival opens with the world premiere of the Spanish film Espejo, espejo [+lire aussi :

, the latest work from Marc Crehuet, starring Santi Millán, Malena Alterio, Carlos Areces and Natalia de Molina; and closes with Pig, a primarily American film directed by Michael Sarnoski and starring Nicolas Cage.

The other premieres (all Spanish productions, spread across different sections of the festival) will be El frío que quema, directed by the newcomer Santi Trullenque, starring Greta Fernández, Adrià Collado and Roger Casamajor; Amor de madre, by Paco Caballero, starring Quim Gutiérrez, Yolanda Ramos and Carmen Machi; the choral comedy Todos lo hacen [+lire aussi :
