, is currently in post-production. The feature, penned by Tobias Lindholm and the director himself, follows a power couple on the Danish gourmet scene, who run the highly popular Malus restaurant in Copenhagen. The pair, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Katrine Greis-Rosenthal, are willing to sacrifice everything to achieve their dream – namely, getting the coveted Michelin star.

The subject of the film has inspired a dedicated 15-minute virtual-reality experience, which recently played at Venice VR. In detail, the experience showcases the two protagonists and revolves around a woman's struggle to survive the expectations of modern life, where family, personal freedom and professional ambition all compete.

Meanwhile, Boe's feature is already attracting the attention of a number of buyers. TrustNordisk, the firm in charge of its sales, has already closed several important deals with Bestfilm.eu (Baltic republics), Vertigo Media (Hungary), Capella Film (Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan) and Cinemania Group (Albania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Macedonia).

A Taste of Hunger is being produced by Louise Vesth for Denmark’s Zentropa, and co-produced by Zentropa Sweden and Film i Väst, with support from the Danish Film Institute, the Swedish Film Institute and the Nordisk Film & TV Fond, in collaboration with TV2 and SVT. The project was also in receipt of development support granted by the European Union's Creative Europe MEDIA programme.

The movie is set for a Danish release on 25 February 2021, courtesy of Nordisk Film.
