Three soldiers moving through the Cuban jungle: combat exercises and camouflage techniques are practised, but the battle never arrives. The nature of their mission becomes an ever-greater mystery, echoing unanswered in the impassive natural surroundings.

A Spanish-Cuban-Colombian co-production, Between Dog and Wolf was produced by José Alayón and Marina Alberti for Tenerife's El Viaje Films and Viana González for Havanna's Autonauta Films, with co-production from Colombia's Blond Indian Films. The world sales are handled by Spanish outfit Bendita Film Sales.
