Cineuropa interviewed Cineuropa interviewed Michael Bertl in Paris, where he took part in the conference European Film School Network, organised by the cinema school La Fémis.

Michael Bertl, Head of Cinematography at the DFFB, explains that cinema is first about capturing emotions and that digital will not change that. He also speaks about how the European film schools share the same fears and experiences and how they need consistency and reliability in film education.
