(in competition in Cannes in 2016). Notably starring Jean-Charles Clichet, Noémie Lvovsky, Iliès Kadri, Renaud Rutten and Doria Tillier, the story was written by Alain Guiraudie in association with Laurent Lunetta and unfolds in modern-day Clermont-Ferrand: Médéric falls in love with middle-aged sex worker Isadora, who is married. When the city centre is hit by a terrorist attack, young, homeless Selim causes a wave of paranoia by taking refuge in Médéric's building. Empathising with Selim and crazy about Isadora, Mederic's life suddenly becomes very complicated… It’s worth noting that the very talented Hélène Louvart headed up the film’s photography. Nobody’s Hero is produced by Charles Gillibert on behalf of CG Cinéma, in co-production with Arte France Cinéma, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma and Belgium’s Umedia. The movie will be released in French cinemas on 2 March, courtesy of Les Films du Losange.

Stealing focus in the sales agent’s post-production line-up for the EFM is the French-German co-production One Fine Morning [+lee también:

In terms of market screenings, Émilie Carpentier’s first feature L’horizon stands tall - which Les Films du Losange will be distributing in French cinemas from 9 February – as does Venice trophy-holder White Building by Kavich Neang, and Tony Gatlif’s Tom Medina [+lee también:
