(screened out of competition in Venice in 2018 and awarded two César nominations in 2019). Written by the filmmaker and Anne-Louise Trividic in collaboration with Violette Garcia, the story revolves around a couple (set to be played by Sandrine Kiberlain and Mathieu Amalric) who are both research engineers with a background in nuclear energy. But everything changes when Claire is moved by the power, or rather the humility exuded, by three Rembrandt portraits… This film exploring transition and possession will be produced by Trésor Films.

, which proved a huge hit at Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight in 2016 and which was singled out for special attention on more than 50 subsequent occasions (earning itself an Oscar nomination, two Césars, two Lumière Awards, and one European Film Award, as well as the Crystal for Best Feature Film and the Audience Award at Annecy, to name just a few). Written by Claude Barras and Catherine Paillé alongside Canadian novelist Nancy Huston and comic book writer Morgan Navarro, the story (which was supported by Groupe Ouest during the writing phase – read our news) revolves around 11-year-old Kéria who lives with her father in the rural suburbs of the province of Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. She’s an urban little girl who likes stylish haircuts and hip-hop music. Kéria no longer remembers her mother who died when she was tiny, but her father told her that she was eaten by a panther... Production is in the hands of French firm Haut et Court in league with Swiss outfit Nadasdy Film and Belgium’s Panique !

Last but not least, an advance on receipts has also been earmarked for Fabianny Deschamps and her feature-length documentary Le bal des Gopi, which will be her 3rd feature film after New Territories [+lee también:
