In his third feature film, which will begin filming on 9 November, he looks at contemporary America, and its very particular relation to borders and immigration. The Wall [+lee también:

ficha de la película] follows the journey of Jessica Comley, an American border patrol agent posted in Tucson, Arizona, between the United States and Mexico. In this merciless desert, she leads with determination her mission to protect her country against drug trafficking and illegal immigration.

One day, she commits an act from which there is no going back, in front of an old man and his grandson, both of them part of a Native American community. While her colleague attempts to make the crime look like an accident, Jessica has to face these inconvenient witnesses: it’s their word against hers.

Like Insyriated, The Wall is produced by Guillaume Malandrin for Belgian company Altitude 100 Productions. The film is co-produced by Tomas Leyers of Minds Meet (Belgium), Maria Moller Christoffersen of Beofilm (Denmark), Gilles Chanial for Les Films Fauves (Luxembourg), Vicky Westover for A Street Productions (United States) and Justin Kreinbrink for Monsoon (United States).
