This possibility had been the subject of rumours for several days and the board of directors of the Cannes Film Festival has finally confirmed it, due to the still major uncertainties born of the current health crisis but also to more optimistic medium-term prospects, linked to the increased speed of vaccinations: the 74th edition of the festival, initially scheduled to unfold from 11-22 May 2021, will take place from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 17 July.
