) for Helsinki-filmi. Also, the Icelandic documentary A Song Called Hate by debutante Anna Hildur has been completed and features in LevelK’s slate; it is about the performance art group Hatari, who participated in last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

Furthermore, the Czech teen drama The Pack by first-time filmmaker Tomáš Polensk is set in the world of youth ice hockey, and the story follows David, a 16-year-old goaltender who suffers from diabetes and joins a new team, the Wolves. He strives to succeed, but as an outsider in the team, he increasingly becomes the target of bullying (see the news). Produced by Julietta Sichel and Jan Froněk for 8Heads Productions, the film will have its national premiere at the Zlín International Film Festival (see the news).

The only animated title in this selection is Raggie by Meelis Arulepp and Karsten Kiilerich (The Ugly Duckling and Me), about six-year-old Ruby, who has a fairly well-balanced life, but when her older brother is ready to go back to school, he makes her a new doll, Raggie, to keep her company. The film is an Estonian-Danish co-production by Kristel Tõldsepp for A. Film Production and Anders Mastrup.

The final title on LevelK’s Cannes Marché du Film slate is the UK horror Martyrs Lane, written and directed by Ruth Platt (The Black Forest [+lee también:

). The movie, which is in post-production, follows ten-year-old Leah, who lives in a large vicarage, full of lost souls, with her busy parents and her older sister, but at night her nightmares start to creep in. Supported by the BFI, the film is produced by Christine Alderson (Valhalla Rising [+lee también:
