The Film Fund Luxembourg, the country’s main audiovisual agency, has announced the beneficiaries of its latest slate of funding. On this occasion, the body has earmarked €9,999,579 in production and development grants, and confirmed it is backing 19 projects out of a total of 32.

In detail, the organisation awarded €477,500 in development grants. The nine selected projects are Bernard Michaux and Remy Solomon’s TV series Cult (€87,500, staged by Samsa Film and Canadian partners), Laura Schroeder’s fiction feature Maret [+lee también:

(€30,000, produced by Red Lion), Loïc Tanson’s documentary feature 208 (€30,000, produced by Samsa Film), Adolf El Assal’s fiction feature Hooped (€60,000, a Wady Films production), Robin McNicholas’ VR project Sweet Dreams (€60,000, co-produced by a_BAHN and British partners), Eileen Byrne’s fiction feature Bille & Zotel (€60,000, produced by Paul Thiltges Distributions and German partners), Kevin MacNeil’s animated flick The Secret Realm (€60,000, produced by Fabrique d’Images and British partners), Enzo D’Alò’s new endeavour Ollmill City Football Games (€30,000, an animated series staged by Paul Thiltges Distributions and Italian producers) and Rony Hotin’s animated flick Sidi Kaba (€60,000, produced by Paul Thiltges Distributions and French partners).

In total, €9,522,079 in production grants were earmarked for ten projects.
