Written by Nadège Loiseau and Niels Rahou, the story revolves around three hobos: Brindille, Casquette and La Flèche. Every Tuesday, Brindille and Casquette play the lottery. They lose, but, for a brief moment, they allow themselves to dream. This Tuesday, it’s La Flèche who buys a lottery ticket and Brindille doesn’t like it. But, as it turns out, they win! They’re 125,000 euros up! Their victory represents a way out for them, but it also signals the beginning of a host of new problems, because getting their hands on the money proves to be something of a challenge. Without identity papers, without a home and without no guarantor to speak of, it won’t be easy for them to change their lives...

Produced by Christophe Barral and Toufik Ayadi on behalf of SRAB Films, Three Times Nothing is co-produced by Canadian firm Possibles Media, alongside France 2 Cinéma. Pre-purchased by OCS and France 2, the feature film is also benefitting from the support of the Ile-de-France region and of the SOFICA company Cofinova, among others. French distribution and international sales will be managed by Le Pacte.

The Parisian firm is currently experiencing huge success on Netflix with Kery JamesStreet Flow (which is produced with Les Films Velvet and which, according to the platform, has started out with audience numbers rivalling those of the biggest American productions), while its post-production slate includes the documentary Africa mia by Richard Minier and Édouard Salier (produced with OFF Productions and sold by Charades), which follows ten promising Malian musicians sent to Cuba to study their art and to strengthen the cultural ties between the two socialist regimes).
