, the Colombian filmmaker (who also wrote the screenplay together with Marie Amachoukeli and Virginie Legeay) takes us back to Bogotá, but this time hot on the heels of Silvia, a single mother and top-notch lawyer who is implicated in a major corruption scandal. Between raising her young son, taking care of her ill-tempered, cancer-stricken mother and navigating her career, Silvia could very well be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. And what if the answer to all of this was simply... love? The cast includes Carolina Sanin, Leticia Gómez and Antonio Martínes. Production duties were handled by French outfits SRAB Films and Les Films du Worso, together with Colombia’s Evidencia Films. Litigante will be distributed in France by Ad Vitam.

The team headed up by Grégoire Melin (aided by Gaëlle Mareschi) will also be kicking off pre-sales for How I Became a Superhero [+lee también:

). The plot revolves around a disillusioned cop who is forced to collaborate with a new recruit from the financial brigade to fight against a supernatural drug spreading all over Paris. Will he find the strength to reconnect with his mysterious past and become a (super)hero again? , which Mia Hansen-Løve will finish shooting this summer, with Luxembourg’s Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread), Brit Tim Roth, Australia’s Mia Wasikowska and Norway’s Anders Danielsen Lie in the lead roles. The French director’s first English-language film is set on the legendary island of Fårö, where a couple of filmmakers decide to retreat to for the summer. In this wild, breathtaking landscape where Bergman used to live, they hope to find inspiration for their upcoming films. But their fascination with the island overwhelms them and memories start to resurface. The fine line between reality and fiction will then gradually begin to blur. The feature is being staged by France’s CG Cinéma together with Sweden’s Plattform Produktion and Germany’s Neue Bioskop Film, and is being backed by Eurimages.

Lastly, at the Cannes Marché du Film, Kinology will be topping up sales for the US comedy Greener Grass by Jocelyn Deboer and Dawn Luebbe, which was unveiled at Sundance, and for The Innocent [+lee también:
