Medset Sas was founded in Paris in 2016 by Pietro Valsecchi and is 100% controlled by Taoduefilm (Gruppo Mediaset), of which Valsecchi is CEO, with the aim of producing and distributing movies in France. Valsecchi and his business partner Camilla Nesbitt also have a third project in the pipeline for the French market, which is a comedy that veers off into thriller territory. The Night Off revolves around the generation of money-obsessed thirtysomethings and was written by the producer together with Andrea Nobile.
