At the last Cannes Film Festival, Cineuropa met Claudia Tomassini, one of the most active independent film publicist at the international film festivals and award strategist for European movies during the award season. Claudia in the last years grew her business exponentially and her line-ups got more titles than everyone else, winning awards and prizes in many festivals in a row. In this last edition, to mention her recent goals, she managed names such as Cristian Mungiu and Kirill Serebrennikov while she brought to the Palmares directors like Lukas Dhont with the movie “Close”, and Clair Denis with “The Stars at Noon”. We asked the expert the secret of her success, some tips, and how her career has changed since she joined the Academy in the Pr & Marketing.
