In this interview, Charline Froment, festival manager for BE for films (Belgium), gives tips on how to be a good sales agent or festival manager. The most important thing in her opinion is always to be friendly to the people you work with. Then, organization is crucial in order to keep track of the films and because many things happen at the same time. The last piece of advice she gives is transparency. To her, itis important to be clear about what you do and what you want, especially in terms of money, while being understanding because “the bond is the most important”.
