Penned by the director together with Adrien Pescayré, the story follows Marta who has narrowly escaped a settling of scores meted out by her boyfriend Alex and who takes refuge in the Pyrenees where she joins her parents, two former ultra-left terrorists who have just been released from prison. Together, they set out in search of their war spoils…

Sang craché des lèvres belles is produced by Cédric Walter on behalf of The Dark, in co-production with Les Films de la Nuit and Studio Actarus. Benefitting from an advance on receipts from the CNC and support from the Occitanie and Nouvelle Aquitaine regions, the feature film is being shot in the Hautes-Pyrénées area, with Julien Hogert heading up photography, and editing entrusted to Matthieu Laclau (whose filmography notably includes A Touch of Sin and Ash Is Purest White [+see also:
