which will be released in France on 21 September).

Eye-catching names in the cast include those of Élodie Bouchez (awarded an acting trophy in Cannes 1998 and a Best Actress César in 1999 thanks to The Dreamlife of Angels, as well as a Best Actress Lumières award in 2019 and a César nomination in the same category for In Safe Hands [+see also:

Written by Céline Rouzet and William Martin, the story takes us to a small and quiet town to which the Féral family are moving while doing everything they can to appear normal. Their son Philémon, a gentle and introverted 17-year-old, suffers from a strange condition which he must conceal at all costs. But he is growing up. The desire he feels for Camilla soon merges with the thirst for blood that he has been controlling up until now. The difference in him becomes impossible to hide…

For Night Will Come is produced by Candice Zaccagnino on behalf of ElianeAntoinette and by Olivier Aknin on behalf of Reboot Films, in co-production with Guillaume Malandrin for Altitude 100 Production. The movie has been pre-purchased by OCS and Disney +, and also benefits from a production subsidy from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, as well as support from the SOFICA companies Cineventure, Indéfilms, SG images and Cinémage. Other financial aid includes a writing grant from the Ile-de-France region, a development grant from Ciclic - the Centre-Val de Loire region, support from the Beaumarchais-SACD Association and a re-writing subsidy from the CNC, as well as further support from the Emergence film direction residency. Filming will continue until 26 August in Devecey, Besançon and Gruffy, with Maxence Lemonnier heading up photography and editing entrusted to Léa Masson. Distribution in France will be steered by Tandem while international sales fall to Playtime.
