"Swing Ride was a difficult and delicate but important film to make”, explained Carlo Cresto-Dina who produced the film for tempesta alongside Valeria Jamonte and Manuela Melissano. “Starting with an already wonderful screenplay, Chiara Bellosi has delivered a profound and unique film. We’re especially happy to be returning to Berlin with Chiara, this time in the Panorama section”.

Swing Ride is produced by tempesta and RAI Cinema in co-production with Tellfilm (Switzerland) and RSI Radiotelevisione svizzera, and enjoys the backing of the Italian Ministry of Culture’s Film and Audiovisual Department, the Swiss Federal Office for Culture (UFC) and the Lazio region. The movie will be released in Italy by Luce Cinecittà, having been produced in compliance with EcoMuvi’s protocol on environmental sustainability in audiovisual production.
