Penned by Serge Bozon and his usual partner in crime Axelle Ropert, the story revolves around Laurent who is jilted on his wedding day and subsequently embarks upon a wild quest for pleasure. His seduction technique? Singing. But work soon calls him back to his commitments - Laurent is an actor rehearsing for Don Juan

Don Juan is produced by David Thion and Philippe Martin on behalf of Les Films Pelléas, and is co-produced by Jean-Yves Roubin and Cassandre Warnuts on behalf of Belgian firm Frakas. Pre-purchased by Ciné+, RTBF and Proximus, the feature film also enjoys the support of the CNC, by way of its fund for genre movies, as well as the backing of the Île-de-France and Normandie regions, and of the SOFICA companies Cinéaxe, Cofinova and La Banque Postale Image. The six-week film shoot will continue until 12 June in the Île-de-France region and in Granville, with Sébastien Buchmann heading up photography. Likewise in on the action are composers Benjamin Esdraffo, Mehdi Zannad and Laurent Talon, lyricist Jacques Duvall and choreographer Christian Rizzo. Distribution in France is entrusted to ARP Sélection.

For the record, Les Films Pelléas are also helming post-production on La Petite Bande by Pierre Salvadori (article), as well as on Anaïs in Love [+see also:
