, the debut feature film by Aurélie Saada (who forms one half of musical duo Brigitte) is now in post-production. Gracing the cast is seasoned actress Françoise Fabian (a star of 1970s and 1980s cinema, mostly owing to My Night At Maud’s; nominated for the Best Supporting Role César in 1989, and again in 2014 for Me, Myself and Mum [+see also:

) and Aurélie Saada, the story revolves around 78-year-old Rose who has just lost her beloved husband. When her sorrow gives way to a deep thirst for life – which helps her to realise that there’s still time for her to redefine herself as a woman - the family’s equilibrium is totally destabilised...

Rose is produced by Priscilla Bertin and Judith Nora on behalf of Silex Films and by Elsa Rodde on behalf of Germaine Films, in co-production with France 3 Cinéma and Apollo (who have also acquired French distribution and international sales rights for the movie). The feature film further enjoys the support of the Ile de France region and of the SOFICA companies Cinécap and Indéfilms, and has also been pre-purchased by France 3, Canal+ and Ciné+.
