The main producer of Zizotek, Konstantinos Vassilaros, of Greek production house StudioBauhaus, commented on the experience of producing the movie and its forthcoming premiere: “The shoot for the film and its post-production were an adventure that has come to a bittersweet end, and now we’re setting off on a new one. I am very happy that Zizotek has found a home at the KVIFF, a festival boasting huge numbers of cinema-goers, and I hope that the film’s magical atmosphere and our characters' yearning for intimacy will connect with the audience.”

Zizotek was produced by Greece’s StudioBauhaus, together with TwoThirtyFive and Ixor VFX, and secured support from the Greek Film Centre and ERT SA. The production company is currently handling the sales itself.
