Produced by Thomas Verhaeghe and Mathieu Verhaeghe for Atelier de Production (which has already produced the director's previous feature) Deerskin was also co-produced by Arte France Cinema. Also pre-purchased by Canal+, the film is supported by the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. Six weeks of shooting will take place from 12 March to 20 April in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques. French distribution will be handled by Diaphana and international sales by WTFilms.
