, a debut film by Finnish Jan Forsström, was given the Bergamo Film Meeting Award - Banca Popolare di Bergamo, assigned by the public at the Bergamo Film Meeting. The award is worth €5,000 and seeks to bring concrete help to productions who invest in young actors, as well as an acknowledgement of quality cinema. The festival’s 32nd edition came to a close after nine days of events: 129 films divided into various categories: Mostra Concorso, main competition; Visti da Vicino dedicated to documentaries; an homage to British actor Dirk Bogarde; Europa, Femminile Singolare, a collection of European female filmmakers, with complete filmographies presented of directors Sólveig AnspachAntonietta De LilloJessica Hausner, as well as a selection of shorts by young female directors from around Europe. Light was shone on Pierre-Luc Granjon, the French director, illustrator and modeller, who also had an exhibit dedicated to his drawings, set models and sculptures, which will be on-going until March 30 in the Porta Sant'Agostino room.

Next year’s edition will take place on March 7-15, 2015.
