João Pedro Rodrigues

João Pedro Rodrigues’ credits include O Fantasma (2000), selected for the official competition at Venice, Two Drifters (2005), screened in the Directors’ Fortnight, and To Die Like a Man(2009), selected for Un Certain Regard at Cannes. From his very first short film, he works with art director and screenwriter João Rui Guerra da Mata and they subsequently co-direct several films including Red Dawn (2011) and The Last Time I Saw Macao (2012), which is screened in the Concorso internazionale at Locarno and wins a Jury’s Special Mention. In 2015, they co-sign Iec Long, a documentary which is screened at Berlin.
