Pablo Trapero

Pablo Trapero directed, in 1999, his first feature, Mundo Grúa (Crane World), Critics’ Award in Venice. Later came El bonaerense (2002), premiered in Cannes, Familia Rodante (2004) premiered in Venice, and Nacido y Criado (Born and Bred, 2006), screened at the Toronto Festival. He returned to Cannes with Leonera (2008), Carancho (2010) and Elefante Blanco(2012). He also participated in the anthology movies Historias de Derechos Humanos (Stories on Human Rights, 2008), Telegramas Visuales (Visual Telegrams, 2010) and 7 días en La Habana (7 Days in Havana, 2012). Trapero has won the Siler Lion to Best Director in Venice Film Festival for El clan.
