LA VIE EST À NOUS

by Gérard Krawczyk

synopsis

On the opposite side of the national highway Le Virage stands, managed by Lucie Chevrier and her daughters. The long-standing rivalry between the two businesses reaches a head during a truck drivers’ strike that blocks the village. Then, to cap it off, Pierre, the truck drivers’ leader, unsettles the lives of these women, along with the life of the small community. He stirs up a mixture of fuss and bother, but also tenderness, that usually goes by the name of “love.” And what if life was theirs to take?
