36

by Olivier Marchal

synopsis

For several months, an unusually violent criminal gang has been operating in Paris with complete impunity. Federal police boss, Robert Mancini, has made it clear to his two captains, Leo Vrinks and Denis Klein, both chiefs of rival organized crime squads, that whoever brings down the gang is direct in line to replace him as top brass at Paris’s police headquarters, 36, quai des Orfèvres. It’s open season between the two top cops who were once friends, but whom now everything separates: their lives, their approach to the job, their squads, and a woman, Camille Vrinks.
