synopsis
Adolf Muschg, the most important Swiss writer after Frisch and Dürrenmatt, sought the other in himself in his confrontation with West-Eastern culture in order to understand otherness. The film is a biopic and is set in Japan, Switzerland and Germany, where Adolf Muschg, as President of the Academy of Arts, held the highest cultural office in the German-speaking world in Berlin in the noughties.
