SOLE SISTERS

by Pierre Jolivet

synopsis

Carole is a magistrate. She spends her life between her chambers at the Court House, dealing with a never-ending stream of pimps, psychopaths and second-rate crooks, and with her husband Bruno, a doctor in ITU, meeting under the covers between emergencies and crises.
An unglamorous life, entirely dedicated to the respect for justice and the law. The only time she lets loose is in the Parisian traffic jams, where her rage and bad temper can finally be expressed to the full!
During a case, Carole meets Tina, arrested for repeatedly stealing expensive shoes. An error from the Clerk's Office means her release and that very night, Tina turns up at Carole's house to thank her for her gesture, which she does not know was accidental.
