BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF

synopsis

France, 1766. A "Beast" rampages through the Gévaudan region killing and maiming, and leaving the king's troops floundering in its wake. National pride and regal dignity dictate that the Beast must die. An enlightened naturalist is sent off to bring back its body. He soon suspects that a mysterious human hand is at work behind the havoc wreaked by the Beast.
